It's Time to Get Organized!

Do you know that order is the basis for beauty?  Having order and balance in your home will relax your mind, lift your mood and allow you to be more productive!

If you are feeling restless or out of sync with your surroundings, then get rid of the clutter.  It's time to get organized!  Here are some ways to reduce clutter in your home:

Purchase occasional furniture such as lamp tables, night stands, coffee tables, sofa tables or credenzas that have drawers and doors with shelving inside to store your items.

Inexpensive and very attractive baskets, boxes, or bins can be purchased to create a storage place for mail, magazines, games, toys, towels, keys and clickers.  These items can still be very accessible, yet everything in its place.

Bins with rollers and many plastic storage containers are made to fit nicely under a bed.

Ottomans with lift tops provide a great storage place for throws, blankets or photo albums.

Clean out your closet!  Give away, throw away, or have a garage sale.  You've now made room for items that are useful and truly important to you.

Purchase bookcases with closed cabinets below, or armoires with adjustable shelves and drawers inside to make room for larger items.

Shop flea markets for old trunks or chests and use the inside storage for memorabilia items.

Study each room in your home.  Look at the wall space and your existing furniture to see how many creative solutions you can find to get organized!
